The 2005 Professor Krishna & Pamela Sappal Prize

Offered annually at Curtin University of Technology to the best Higher Degree Research Graduate in Geoscience.

The prize carries a monetary value of 250 A$. The laureates are displayed in the entrance hall of the Geology Department.

The Lucien Cahen 2006 prize of the Royal Academy of Overseas Sciences, Category Natural and Medical Sciences (official ceremony, 19th October 2006)

This prestigeous prize is offered once every four years to the author of the best piece of original research in overseas Earth Sciences. The prize is open to any Belgian researcher conducting research overseas, or any international researcher who carried out his research at a Belgian Academic Institute. The prize carries a monetary value of 2500 EURO, and the Academy offers the laureate the opportunity to publish his/her research in book form (Memoir of the Royal Academy of Overseas Sciences)
